I HATE PITTSBURGH

I hate Pittsburgh for no other reason than the fact that I grew up in Cincinnati. My least favorite part about living in the Charlotte area is seeing all the Steeler logos plastered on fans cars. When I think about the town and teams I feel a bit of rage building inside me…

After growing up in the Nasti Nati, I have such a deep hatred for the city that I don’t even eat Heinz Ketchup.

What really fuels my fire is that fact that the city has winning clubs….I don’t even want to hear about or see the teams on the news. It really hurt my heart when the Wings lost the Cup to the Penguin’s.

The only time I actually like to hear about the city is when Ben Roethlisberger does something stupid….like when Toothlessberger crashed his bike while not wearing a helmet. I found this slightly ironic because he wears a helmet at work…you would think it would be a habit.

Beckham Go HOME

DAVID BECKHAM, PLEASE GO HOME...you are a drama queen like your Spice Girl wife and the MLS doesn't need the negative attention!

Recently, I have been hearing David Beckham’s name popping like popcorn all over ESPN and the Internet. He seems not to be the shiny star he was when he first came across the pond to play in the MLS. He has been the center of dramatic summer with the LA Galaxy. I am glad that the MLS is getting time on Sports Center, but all the negative press leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and ultimately costing the MLS some fans.

In the latest string of negative Beckham buzz from the soccer world, Beckham is fined $1000 for taunting fans during the LA v AC match.

Fans come to watch you work your magic on the pitch, not to be taunted and teased…everyone already knows that you are one of the world top players…act like it!

I think the $1k fine is a bit of a joke, myself, you are paying him a ridiculous figure of something like $200 million…the thousand is nothing to him. On the flip side, that is huge fine for MLS soccer. I understand the league is trying to send a message and be consistent, but perhaps a days pay would have been a tougher fine.
